NSA Industries Acquires Manufacturing Facility

St. Johnsbury, Vermont – June 10, 2014 – NSA announced today the acquisition of an 83,000 square foot building in Lyndonville, Vermont to house its machining operations and provide needed space for growth. As a leading metal fabrication, machining and powder coating company in New England, this facility will complement the Company’s existing and extensive fabrication operations in St. Johnsbury.

Located in Lyndonville since its founding in 1982, NSA is an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer supplying a diverse customer base from medical, scientific, food service, exercise equipment and other industries. NSA’s broad array of capabilities enables the company to serve diverse customers whose requirements may vary from high volume production (greater than 1,000 units per day) to larger scale products where production quantities may be less than 10 units.

“We are thrilled to complete this purchase, which will be the new home for over 100 of the Company’s CNC machines,” said Jim Moroney, NSA’s CEO. “In addition, and most importantly, the facility will position NSA for substantial growth opportunities in the future.”

This building acquisition was made in conjunction with the Northern Community Investment Corporation (NCIC), whose efforts were essential to its completion. “This building supports NSA’s strong growth potential and as a result, NCIC is very pleased to participate in a way that made the acquisition possible,” said Jon Freeman, NCIC President.
